I am in grade nine and it’s time to start thinking about what I’d like my future career to be. I’ve been thinking of counseling for a couple months now and I really like the idea of it. I am also told I have the gift of encouragement which might be a little helpful. What skills would I need and which courses should I take? Which universities offer good counseling programs? (Preferably near south-eastern Canada.) How much money does the average counsellor make a month, and how much does a great counsellor make per month? What are some different kinds of counselling I could go into?
