how do i find a cheap career counselor?

im not really sure what i want to do with my life but i have to figure it out fast i’ve been looking at diff colleges and stuff but i just have no idea what i want to do with my life and all the career counselors i find are way to expensive so i was wondering if anybody new of any cheap career counseling programs that i could enroll in

What is the best way to get career and education counseling? ?

I need to learn which jobs are most in demand, how to get the education and credentials, and to find a job in that field soon afterwards. I am considering respiratory therapist, for example, but I believe it may be hard to start school as there is a waiting list in my area at local colleges. I need a free or low-cost way of learning what can be done, and to not be interfered with by all the hype and lack of integrity demonstated even by schools, etc. I already have a college degree, but it is not very useful as is, though this will save me from doing some prerequisite courses. I’m a 53 yr. old male, and don’t relish the idea of nursing, which otherwise would be a good career choice. I also am considering some form of counseling, social work, or anything in the healing fields. But I need something which pays well and which has a high demand, in other words I need to be able to earn within two years or less.
